CHIN'S NATURE CORNER ~ PHOTO GALLERY ~ SOME COMMON BIRDS
Common Myna (Acridotheres tristis): This bird seems to me as ubiquitous as the
sparrow or pigeon, and it is currently the most widespread myna. It is found in towns,
city suburbs, villages and most localities where you can see sparrows or pigeons, and its
natural range stretches from Afghanistan to the Malay Peninsula. They move about in small
flocks of several individuals, sometimes quarrelling among themselves over scraps of food.
