Magpie-Robin (Copsychus saularis): This bird normally feeds on live insects and has a melodious call usually heard in the morning or late afternoon/evening. It is also a popular cage bird. I recall that when I was a kid, a friend of my father kept one of these birds, feeding it with live grasshoppers and occasionally beef, which he had sliced into bite-size pieces. "It sings better when it gets to eat beef," he told me.
