Family: Pieridae

The Redspot Sawtooth (Prioneris philonome): This forest butterfly may be seen in open spaces near water courses, gathering at moist spots or puddles in the company of other pierid species or papilionids. It looks like the Painted Jezebel (Delias hyparete) but may not be a mimic of that species.
