The Crimson Dropwing (Trithemis aurora) is sexually dimorphic. While the male of the species has a striking "psychedelic pink" colour, the female looks more ordinary in orange-yellow livery. This specimen was perched on the tip of an Aloe vera leaf in my garden, allowing me to photograph it from a low angle. ID credit: Tai LA.
