CHIN'S NATURE CORNER ~ INTRODUCTION PAGE 2
What you can find
in this website

THIS WEBSITE HOLDS a selection from the many photos that I have taken during my rambles in the countryside and forests for more than 15 years. Through all these years I have focused mainly on butterflies because they are colourful, but during my outings I have also photographed strange creatures like the stalk-eyed fly and the ant-mimicking spider.
I have also caught some ants kissing. The photos in the Photo Gallery are arranged in these categories: Butterflies, Malaysian Moths, Dragonflies and Damselfies, Some Other Insects, Spiders on the Web, Frogs and Toads, Lizards and Snakes, Fungi and Mushrooms, Wild Gingers. and the latest addition, Some Common Birds.
The photos are the raison d' etre for this website. I have included "extras" such as the stories, A Tiger That Flies, A Fishy Frog Tale, The Trilobite Larva, The Archduke, a butterfly species that's sexually dimorphic, The One-legged Bird, and Alien Species.
In the Photography section, My Butterfly Shooter, Going Digital, and My Workaround are all about the photographic tools and techniques that I use.

There are also accounts of my treks to Mount Kinabalu, Malaysia's highest mountain, and to Mount Trusmadi, Malaysia's second highest mountain, in the Treks and Travels section. I have also included an account of my visit in September, 1997 to Doi Inthanon, Thailand's highest mountain, and to an elephant training centre.
That, in brief, is what you can expect to find here. Step right in to get a better picture of what's on display in my nature corner. The Photo Gallery is a good place to start. The pages may take time to load as they contain many photo scans.
