Dysphania malayanus is one of several Dysphania species that I have photographed.
D. malayanus is unlike the other two in having a light colour and subdued wing pattern.
Also, unlike the other Dysphania species which are day-flying, D. malayanus
is nocturnal. This specimen was probably sick or injured
when I found it one morning on grass-covered ground near a forest. It did not bother
to fly away until I prodded it with a finger.
