Family: Noctuidae

Ischyja inferna (Family Noctuidae, Subfamily Catocalina) is a leaf-mimicking moth that prefers to settle on the forest floor and "disappear" among the dead leaves and other detritus. Its disguise would have been totally effective but for the small patch of light blue colour on the hindwings which gave this moth away.
