One of the hiking trails in the Bukit Gasing forest park. There are several trails shown on
the map near the main entrance and many paths criss-crossing the park.
I believe some of these trails and paths were initially
made to facilitate the work of tapping the rubber trees when Bukit Gasing was a rubber plantation
more than 60 years ago. Some of the trails, especially those approaching the hill tops, were
quite steep. There are several peaks rising to a height of about 135 to 150 metres. We had not intended
to climb up any of the peaks as we did not have the time to do so.
