Note: Tribe Poritiini comprises small to moderate size butterflies which are collectively referred to as Gems. The males are brilliantly coloured green or blue above, while the females are variously coloured, and usually broad black borders are present. They fly from northeast India to the Philippines and Sulawesi though Neomalaya is the centre of distribution of this tribe and represented by a number of genera, namely Cyaniriodes, Poritia, Simiskina and Deramas.
